Finally the Las Vegas real estate market is beginning to turn around! (slightly)

Here in Las Vegas there was about a $7,000 increase in the average home price during the first quarter of this year.  That doesn't sound like much but it does show that we have hit bottom and are climbing up the mountain again.  It is still predicted that it will be 20 years before we hit the 2007 prices at the height of the market.

We are seeing people with equity in their homes that were waiting for the turn have started puting their homes up for sale.  This is a changing market.  We still have plenty of REO & shortsales on the market, but now 1/2 of the market is regular equity sellers.

This is the beginning of the home selling season.  Please call me if you are planning to move this summer.  I'll be happy to help you find your new home, sell the current one quickly, or both.
