How much will your home sell for?
If you're looking to sell your home, you probably want to know if now is the right time. What's the highest price can you get? How long will it take to sell? Should you sell now, or, if you have a choice, wait for the market to change?
You don't want to underprice your home and lose money. But you also don't want to overprice it and waste time and money by waiting.
My name is AJ Ackerman. I've helped lots of people sell their homes, so I hear concerns like these all the time. The two biggest concerns I hear are about losing time and money. But people are also worried about what to do if they need to sell from a distance. Sometimes they've been transferred, or they're helping to sell a relative's home. In these and other situations, they tell me they're most worried about picking the wrong agent.
Picking the right agent is just as important as setting the right price. You don't want to get "stuck" with someone who doesn't communicate or who doesn't know the market well enough to help you sell on time. You want someone who is knowledgeable, who talks to you, who follows through, and who makes sure you get the best price AND fastest sale.
Selling your home often means big life changes. If you're moving, you want to make sure everything goes smoothly so your new life can start. If the home you're selling is not your primary one, you want to make sure your investment is protected and handled professionally. In either case, you don't want to be stressed out about such a big transaction being handled poorly.
Several years ago I became a REALTOR® because I have a passion for helping people. When people go through big changes in their lives, and I can help make that smoother, I get tremendous satisfaction out of it!
After hearing horror stories from homeowners, I realized that not every real estate agent shares my passion. So I decided to make it my mission to help people sell their homes faster and more smoothly by offering as much free advice and as many free educational resources as I could.
I'd like to offer some free resources to you now. If you like them, and you think I could help you further, I'd be honored to! If not, that's okay, too. You can use these free resources on your own, and I'll still have the satisfaction of knowing I made someone's life a little bit better!
