Look, up in the air. It's a bird, it's a plane...it's the Scottsdale Air Fair. This weekend, the skies above Scottsdale will be filled with jets, helicopters and more.
From 10am to 5pm on November 3rd and 4th, the Scottsdale Airport will be hosting this year's Scottsdale Air Fair. While it took a hiatus for 11 years (from 2000-2011), the Scottsdale Air Fair was resurrected last year to great success and fanfare. That's why it's back. Visitors will have the opportunity to see historical military and other vintage airplanes, emergency response vehicles, current types of airplanes, military ground equipment, helicopters and motorcycles up close. There will also be arts and crafts booths, aviation simulators, industry booths, food vendors and live entertainment throughout the entire weekend. The kids will never be bored in the designated children's area. Especially since there's a bounce house and a zip line for them to keep active and busy.
Military personnel who are looking for employment can visit the job fair set up especially for the weekend. Tickets are just $12 for adults and $7 for kids ages 15 and under when purchased in advance. Otherwise, they are $15 for adults and $10 for kids at the gate. Military personnel with valid ID can get in for free. You can buy your tickets to the Scottsdale Air Fair online here.
Veterans Day is just around the corner (November 12th). Take a glimpse of past military vehicles as well as current equipment our brave men and women use. Attend the Scottsdale Air Fair for a weekend of fun and history with the family.
