The 2012 new inductees to the Oklahoma Hall of Fame were announced at a luncheon at the Gaylord-Pickens Oklahoma Heritage Museum. The honorees are businessman Stan Clark, Olympic champion Bart Conner, journalist and philanthropist Edith Kinney Gaylord, energy executive Tom L. Ward, educator Suzanne Warren, jurist Lee R. West and heart specialist Ronald H. White.
The Oklahoma Heritage Association in Oklahoma City has hosted the announcement since 2009. The new members have a chance to meet and dine with those who were already inducted into the Hall of Fame.
In a news release, Shannon L. Rich, president of the Heritage Association said, “It’s incredibly inspirational to be surrounded by such an accomplished group of people who have literally created our history.” The Heritage Association was established in 1927. Its mission was to establish an Oklahoma Hall of Fame, and this year’s inductees make up the 85th class of honorees.
