Clients are thinking about selling. Last week I walked through a lovely home.It's a luxury home and should list near a million.
The owner's focus was all about updates. As we walked through the house her focus was dated wallpaper and carpet. I agree those areas need attention.
I couldn't help notice the need for repairs. Visable water stains in the ceilings.Paint peeling from moisture. Tiles popping up in bath floors.Windows fogged with broken seals.
The inspection has now been ordered.I believe the first order of business will be a new roof. Busy lives can keep us from small and large maintenance jobs.When it's time to sell the repair list should be short. Buyer's don't want to do repairs.
