Manhattan's Housing Market Ends 2012 With Sales Rush

The end of the year rush was due to the fact that sellers were in a hurry to close deals before new tax laws kicked in with the new year.
Basically the market is flat. With credit expected to remain tight and inventory expected to remain low the market we're going into is going to be this artifically induced improving market. The scarcity of apartments will bring higher prices in 2013.

Yes so many were concern about higher taxes . Looks like your market will certainly have higher prices , the rule of supply and demand is always right.
