Stone Brewing World Bistro Gardens has officially opened its doors in Liberty Station, a former
naval training center in Point Loma. The Bistro has left no “stone†un-turned, offering patrons
indoor and outdoor bars, a bocce ball court, banquet halls, an outdoor courtyard for movies and,
eventually, a small on-site brewery for experimental brews. Seating can accommodate up to 700
people, this being Stone’s largest location, 23,500 square feet!
Guest reviews have mentioned how pleasing it is to be able to carry on a conversation in the
middle of a full restaurant to how convenient the new location is, being only 5 minutes from
Downtown and the San Diego Airport, Mission Valley, the beaches and Sea World. Stone Brewery’s
original location is located in Escondido, which is about an hour from the Liberty Station location.
The menu is pleasing to all tastes, and includes a kids menu and a Meatless Monday menu for
those non-carnivorous guests. You don’t have to be a beer lover to quench your thirst, either.
Stone Brewery offers a Red and White wine menu as well.
Reservations are recommended here, but they do go fast, so if you’re walking in make sure to
get there early and allow time to find parking.
