Going on week eight of the approval process.  The last four have been waiting for MI approval.  The negotiator for Chase has been good, but the process seems completely out of her control. Very frustrating.............

Did you have any luck getting MI approval? I've been dealing on a short sale with Chase since late November and was just told today that the file was sent for MI approval. I'm hoping that after four months this process will soon be over but am unsure that it will be! Easily the most frustrating/ridiculous thing I've ever been involved in.

Did you have any luck completing your short sale... I'm just about to start the process with Chase and I'm just wondering if you have any tips for completing the process in a timely manor.

CLOSED, CLOSED, CLOSED!!!!!At first MI company wanted seller to come in with money and this was a huge 3 month delay...then all of a sudden the mi issue was dropped...

I've been waiting on short sale approval since May 2011!! I'm a cash buyer. For the last four weeks we are now waiting on MI approval. I don't think banks want to sell these properties. Since I've made my offer the AC unit has been stolen, doors kicked in, awning fell off, water heater rusted, etc. etc. etc. It surely isn't even the property I bid on!!!
