When you interview realtors for the job of representing you they will provide you with a Comparative Market Analysis or CMA for your home.Â This analysis has recent date about real estate in your area. Currently we have a high volume of available homes for sale but, it is important to use homes that are under contract and sold to set your asking price.Â Using homes that are available to set your price is a mistake since they are on the market and not selling.Â An agent will help you set the price using the data in the CMA while taking the features of your home into consideration and adjusting the price to fit the desirability and value of your house.

Â Be very wary if one of the Realtors you interview gives you a much higher price than the other agents.Â Â Look closely at the data you are shown.
