    9917 Leavesly Trail

    9917 Leavesly Trail

One of Santee's newest communities; Riverwalk is centrally located in the middle of Santee, with a walkable score of 51 out of 100; walking distance to the YMCA & Town Center Community Park/SportPlex across the street, the Town Center Shopping Center, and Rio Seco Elementary School. Riverwalk features detached single family homes, and the Rowhomes of Canopy Park. Built in 2007 by Standard Pacific homes, this community has remained desirable due to it's centrality, low HOA fees, and community amenities (pool, playground, and park-like greenbelts).

I just sold 9917 Leavesly Trail in December 2013 for $420,000(See photos in link below). Many buyers are still interested in moving into the neighborhood, and the inventory of available homes on the market remains low.

  • Thank You's & Client Testimonials

One of my favorite things is to receive sincere meaningful thank you notes or online written reviews from my clients. I know closing escrow is a hectic time and appreciate quick thank-you's just as much, but maybe it's my traditional side appreciating hand written notes- but these always amaze me.

Thank you for the thank you's!

  • Happy New Year!

Happy 2nd week of 2013! I'm a little late but better late than never & wanted to get blogging by acknowledging the new year. 2012 was a great year; the market continued to fluctuate and change;  inventory remained at a low, prices crept slowly upwards, and interest rates dropped to a record low! What changes will we see in the 2013 market?

Here's a quick snapshot photo collage of some of my 2012 business; all over San Diego County from as far North as Oceanside, furthest East to Campo, South to Imperial Beach and a few more in between!

    2012 Snapshot Review

One of my new resolutions aka I'll call it an improvement more-so; is to post more often :) Happy New Year & Best Wishes to all.

  • Rentable Floating Cabins Now Available @ Santee Lakes

Posted Under: General Area in Santee, Parks & Recreation in Santee, In My Neighborhood in Santee  |  June 15, 2011 4:02 PM  |  4,168 views  |  No comments

I'm a huge Lake Murray fan, and recently after discussing with a friend another lake alternative, we thought of Santee Lakes and googled the circumference to compare. Per the Santee Lakes website, I just discovered that they completed(March 2011) the addition of a $450,000 project; 7 prefabricated cabins at the water's edge, with 3 more cabins floating on pontoons on the water.

Rent Lake Front Cabins @ Santee Lakes

Being that I grew up down the street, I'm usually one for further retreats, but this really sparked my interest- A neat get away for locals, and fun for out of town visitors, while not breaking the bank. It's a great concept and the cabins offer great amenities and are said to be spotless. Where else nearby can we get something similar to this? Can't think of anything!

All cabins have air conditioning, heat, cable television and Wi-Fi access. Each has a kitchen with a stove, a microwave oven, a refrigerator; a bathroom with a shower; a living room w/a television & DVD player; a BBQ w/utensils & outdoor seating for two.

    • Waterfront units also have a fire ring. A pedal boat is docked at each floating unit. Prices range from $100 to $145/night. Dogs are not allowed.
    • For those who feel like "roughing" it, Santee Lakes has a campground with 300 sites, a swimming pool and clubhouse facilities with Wi-Fi and cable access. About 65% of Santee Lake's $3.5 million revenue comes from its campground fees.
    • The water at Santee Lakes comes from Padre Dam's recycling plant, which treats 2 million gallons per day. About 1 million gallons go into the lakes; the rest is used for irrigation.
    • Santee Lakes, at 9310 Fanita Parkway, is a 191-acre regional park and campground owned and operated by Padre Dam. It hosted more than 650,000 visitors last year. SignOnSanDiego.com

I read a few of the review comments and just have to point out the positives of this project: besides all of the advantages above, Padre Dam's Santee Lakes is dedicated to business practices that minimize our impact on the environment, and saves energy while protecting the Recreation Preserve for generations to come.  What more can you ask for from a smaller town little nature get away that strives for sustainability and welcomes visitors?

More Info from SanteeLakes.com: Our rental cabins provide a fun getaway for the entire family!  We have ten cabins to choose from. Seven are right on the water' edge on the northern shore of Lake 7 and three are actually floating on the lake.  All units have full utilities including AC & heat, TV, and WiFi.  They come furnished and include a restroom with shower, kitchenette, master bedroom, living room, porch and barbeque.
