Lake WhiteHall Park - Hopkinton MassachusettsLake Whitehall State Park consists almost completely of water and very little park. The lake was once used as a source of local drinking water and is now a little bit of paradise for the small boater and fisherman.
There is a nice little boat ramp on the Route 135 end of the lake and some restrictions that keep this a very quiet spot.
Since boaters can only launch something as small as a canoe this completely cuts out any chance of noise or huge wakes from power boats.
The watercraft speed on the lake is limited to 12 MPH and there are no jet skis around. And, with sight-line restrictions most of the homes are completely invisible from the water making it seem like it is in a world of its own.
All of this adds to the peaceful ambience of this quite little place which is a welcomed retreat after a hectic
day.
