Community Manager We seek a passionate, enthusiastic and hard working Community Manager. As a Community Manager at Trulia, you will be responsible for actively engaging with our large audience to improve quality, content, and reach of our core products. The ideal person has a rich experience in growing, managing
, and engaging online communities, and understands what makes them tick.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for moderating and communicating with the Voices community
- Responsible for acquiring new users and contributors into the Voices community
- Create and execute compelling projects that engage our community. Help curate rich and relevant content at both a local and national level.
- Interact with our users and become a recognized, respected participant in our community
- Manage writers who produce interesting content
- Ensure community members have a great and engaging user experience
- Collaborate with product, marketing, and engineering teams to identify product opportunities, user needs, and ensure project deliverables
- Track core metrics within the community and drive efforts to optimize engagement
- Follow and understand emerging trends and technology to be able to make product and program recommendations Have loads of fun
Requirements:
- 2 - 4 years experience
- Passionate about Trulia, Real-estate, and our vision
- Self-motivated, self-starter who can be creative and execute projects with little supervision
- Strong focus on product and community quality
- Excellent writer with a passion for grammar and precise diction
- Ability to inhabit Trulia's brand personality and voice in all communications
- Deep love of tracking results, analyzing, and improving metrics in the next go 'round
- Proven ability to work well with others, adapt, and excel under pressure
- Experience with web communities, content, or user acquisition and retention a plus
