VP, Business Development
As Trulia’s VP of Business Development, you will lead all business development activities company-wide, partnering with our C-level executives and Business Unit leaders to drive audience and revenue growth for the company.
Lead the Business Development function for Trulia including setting partnership vision and prioritizing business development activity for Trulia.
Drive value creation and innovation through sourcing and leading partnerships
Grow Trulia’s consumer reach and product quality – on web and mobile – by identifying and closing valuable distribution and content partnerships.
Team with Trulia’s New Ventures unit to proactively identify partnership opportunities in emerging areas including Rentals, Mortgage, and Builder.
Lead end-to-end business development execution, including identifying strategic partners, screening partners, and negotiating and closing deals.
Support and provide guidance to a team of talented Business Development Directors and Managers.
Build solid relationships with key players – both large established companies and emerging startups – to position Trulia for long-term success.
Understand, represent, and help share the Trulia story outside the company.
Work closely and effectively with Trulia’s Business Unit leaders and C-level executives to jointly identify partnership strategies and close deals that drive meaningful impact to core business metrics.

Strong understanding of corporate strategy.
Experience and depth of knowledge in consumer internet.
10+ years in business development, consulting, and/or strategy with proven success in proactive business development at a technology company.
Analytical rigor and financial acumen.
Possess a dynamic outlook on growth.
Ideal candidate will have an deep understanding of product, sales, and marketing (ancillary to core skillset in Business Development)
BA required, MBA ideal.
