"South-Central PA is really a great area in general to find a nice abode. Dover, however, is nice because of its locale to York as well as Harrisburg. Small town feel with everything you'd need from a city close by. We enjoy the area, and love how close so many other states are to go and explore. "

"It is a half a second to one minute process. Now with more b to b being carried out by phone, going from deep sleep to work is two rings by the telephone. A serious day of work though begins at nine in a quite area of the house."

"Lehr park star gazing, summer movies, library program, bingo, carnival in the summer, community pool (green valley-membership required. No one bothers you. People keep their houses and yards neat in my development which keeps property value high."

"I commute to York city. I would never live there. That's why I live in Dover. I don't mind the drive to work. The Dover school district is great. Taxes here are HIGH but it keeps the undesirables out."

"Love the area. Country setting yet close to main roads. People are friendly. State park nearby. Dover has many community events year round. Restaurants, local produce, ice cream shops available. Great fire and police departments "
