"Spend lots of time down the hill. Cute stores Dr’s and food and bars. The river is beautiful all year around. People are very friendly. Homes are big! Schools are fantastic. People in this area make good money. Best of all No homeless tents or camps. May see one or two but very rare. "

"I’ve lived in WL most of my life , since birth, in a few areas. This neighborhood, more than any of the three others I’ve lived in, has not been as friendly. I’ve got a couple neighbors who think they own the area & have something to say about everything. Very nosy, inappropriate & rude. They are two old men over 60 yrs old. These neighbors I’ve wished would mind their own business. I keep my place up in good & clean updated condition. Others areas I’ve lived in have been friendly, polite & don’t interfere that is not their concern & become life long friends with some."

"Can't beat this area. Little to no traffic, lovely homes, friendly neighborhood. I love how accessible the freeway is, yet we are tucked back away from it. Or opt for plenty of beautiful backroads to more shopping. Neighborhood overlooks wetlands park. Walk to gorgeous river parks. Old Towne Willamette is getting hipper and hipper while still charming. Walk to meet friends for coffee, lunch, happy hour, and dinner, at casual neighborhood cafe's and restaurants. Groceries, hardware, very close and walk to Farmer's Market Summer to Fall. Police officer who does friendly patrols mentioned this neighborhood as more connected and friendly than most. Very high quaility of life! "

"I live in the North Willamette area, near the end of Debok Road. It is a wonderful neighborhood. The houses are more affordable than "up the hill," yet you get more privacy and less traffic. The neighborhood is very safe. It is also extremely quiet. Old Town West Linn (historic Willamette) area, and Albertsons, are within walking/biking distance - although the historic area is a bit of a trek! There are a number of parks, one is within walking distance. Neighbors look out for each other. On warm summer evenings, you'll see kids riding bikes, playing with friends, and people walking dogs...just like days gone by. People wave and smile. The only negative is the bus service; however, Lake Oswego is 10 minutes away via Johnson Road. The other drawback - if you are into nightlife - is that it's pretty quiet in that regard. We do have great restaurants and a few nice bars in Willamette, though. "
