What Locals Say about Sapulpa

"I work in Sapulpa with individuals with disabilities. The parks and recreation department tries to keep the community involved in outdoor activities, motorcycle club runs/drives in the spring and summer in conjunction with local churches and other organizations. The fall and winter months the city offers chili cook offs, high school football and outdoor festivals. Small town feel with some city conveniences."

"Sapulpa is wonderful! I have lived in many different counties in Oklahoma and I have lived out east. I love how everyone works together and gets everything done. Flood of 2019, shows exactly how us Oklahomans around here take care of one another. "

"The train comes by blasting the horn multi time a day. So therefore, the noise for them to bark at and the chance of them getting loose and being ran over by the train. "

" I've lived in sapulpa my whole life. My past neighbor shot my dog for no reason, so I suggest to watch out for that. Now that I've moved, my neighbors are very nice. I would suggest to watch out for robbers and kidnappers."

"Have lived and raised a family in this area for 30 years. It is a nice quiet neighborhood but close to downtown shopping and access for the kids to walk to school. All different families live in the neighborhood, families with children, retirees, and singles. Great neighbors."

"Lived here for over a year now. We often have forgotten to close the garage door (its full of tools and equipment) and have had nothing taken. *Update: Last night – a beautiful summer night in June – I was doing some work in the library. I had pulled my saw table and router table out into the ally. It got really late and I completely forgot about them being outside and the garage door being open. When my son got up to go to work (3:30am), everything was just as I had left it. I love this neighborhood!* This is a very pet friendly area as most folks have dogs and/or cats. Lots of kids around. A few small stores and a Wal-Mart out on the South edge of the neighborhood just the other side of the golf course."

"We landed here by accident, but we love this area. The homes are beautiful and well kept. The Tulsa Hills shopping area is fabulous. We can be virtually ANYWHERE in Tulsa in minutes. Just LOVE it."
