"it's very quiet...sometimes eerily quiet. and not a lot of street lights or lights in the neighborhood. I sometimes wonder if there are other people in the area after 10 cuz i rarely see any one around but the cops. and they seem to harrass you. I got pulled over for the same unexpired temp tag 5 times in a month. like it was just an excuse to harass me. but atleast there super friendly and easily see them all over unless you need one. however on a brighter note I really do love the community it is so friendly during the day. unless your in a school zone during pick up then its chaos. also there are very few if any gas stations or grocery stores or anything open around here and after dark eee forget about it. "I lived there for 13 years and loved the location, its lush green landscaping and walkability."
- Susan N. A.

"This street is one of the most beautiful and elegant in the whole Albuquerque area. Huge old growth cottonwood trees, many large green lawns, close to walking and biking trails along the Rio Grande river. Village of Los Ranchos has a very active Growers Market on Saturdays and interesting festivals featuring wineries and local lavender farms. Area has a semi rural feel but is close to Albuquerque and major roads."
- Susan N. A.

"Hundreds of old growth cottonwood trees, acres of lawn and pasture make this part of Los Ranchos de Albuquerque lush, green and lovely, Home is close to shaded walking, biking or horse back riding trails along the acequias and was designed by the masterful architect, Rick Schalk."
- Steve Q.

"This subdivision contains lots that are mostly three acres or more in size. The residences are beautiful custom homes, many of them landmark properties. Located in the geographic center of the metro area, and in the Rio Grande River Bosque, there is no better place to live in New Mexico. "
