"I've lived in Pinecrest neighborhood since 2007. It is a great place to raise children with an incredible park and school just down the street. The neighbors are kind and friendly! It's a very safe neighborhood, too! I would highly recommend this neighborhood if you have children and looking to relocate."

"An awesome elementary school, two other parks with playgrounds, within walking distance to restaurants, grocery store, yoga studio, MSU's Breslin Center. Neighbors are friendly, sense of community, neighborhood outings, feels safe, communication with neighbors and the city."

"Nothing, my community is very average for East Lansing. Mostly students, some adults that have lived here for a long time. The apartment walls are thin, kids are dumb, and everything is within walking distance."

"The neighborhood has become very seedy, especially after the city cut down most of the large trees that made this place special. Trees add value to properties and they take decades to replace. I'm looking to leave East Lansing soon!"

"I walk to work at MSU. It’s wonderful summer, spring and fall. Winter is often beautiful as well. The sidewalks in most of our area are well cared for. Although, in student rental areas are iffy. There are lots of people walking almost everyday. If I drive, it takes me 5 minutes door to door."
