"Most houses are like ours on Briggs & Fortier, built in the mid 1940's, small lots (less than 1/2 acre) electric rarely goes out, good water pressure, 2x4 construction, damp basements as the land was rich soils farm land before Route 195 was developed. Not in flood zone - about 48 ft. above Taunton River normal level. Some old growth trees. Most homes are maintained in fair condition - middle of the road neighborhood lower to middle class working people - pretty much down to earth types."

"The school system is decent. Town has a summer recreation program (think day care outside). Situated well close to Providence, Boston, and plenty of parks in and nearby to bring kids. "
