"Destrehan High Football games, brings tradition and generations together. Alligator festival, the church fairs, also the Rec sports programs. Could use one or two more restaurants. "

"Our family moved to Destrehan May 2013, and have we ever fallen in love with the community. Offering the peace and tranquility of a small town, Destrehan is within 12-25 minutes of great shopping and dining, depend what part of the Greater NOLA area you patronize. I love the diverse culture here, the sense of community, the high educational standards given at the schools, and how clean every area is!"
