"I have lived near downtown now for 3 years. The downtown area is amazing for some local shopping, dining and coffee and ice cream! Great to walk with the family around downtown and along the River. "

"We commute during off peak hours. Find a route other than 66, it’s usually congested. Public transportation nonexistent from what I see. "

"They have randomly placed trash cans with baggies to allow you to pick up after your pets. This helps keep people accountable for their pets. "

"neighborhood feels safe and welcoming. downtown area is nice and inviting. has small shops and eateries for nice walks by the river. very quaint and small town feel. located very close to all convenient places needed. the commute to work is ok depending on where you have to drive to. Lloyd expressway can get very crowded and hectic at times. "

"It’s nice and quiet on my street. Lots of events in Newburgh just not my Street. Free yoga on Saturday’s by the river. Wonderful farmer’s market every Saturday. "

"I live and work here. It is a beautiful town, with a wonderful bike path/ walking trail winding along the river. Lots of people can be seen walking, running, biking, pushing strollers, walking dogs, etc. on this trail. Frequent festivals and concerts are held here. There are 5 or 6 boutique restaurants within walking distance. Excellent schools. Low crime. Best place in the Tri-State to live!"
