"Lots of young kids and very safe. The schools are excellent and well funded. The parks are well maintained and playground equipment is in good condition. There are also good programs for kids in the summer. The town has an excellent library with sections for children and another section for teenagers. "

"Lake Ellyn events along with very nice downtown. Fourth of July and boat regatta is outstanding. Excellent facilities and schools. "

"A lot of green space and side walks to walk dogs. Community dog parks avail too. Most people keep their dogs to themselves and don’t want them to interact with your dog. Not trusting even though almost every dog I have met is very sweet. "

"There are several parks within walking distance in our neighborhood plus a fantastic reasonable fitness center within walking distance as well. Great neighbors, everyone watches out for each other! Lived in this neighborhood for 21 years!"

"I’ve lived in this neighborhood for 20 years. Neighbors are awesome. You can hop on the Great Western trail in 1 minute and go for a walk or bike ride. Walk to Ackerman Sports & Fitness Center. Great location to live in, minutes to get on major highways. Top rated schools that our 3 children attended! We have the best of everything in our neighborhood!"
