"Love this area take the good with the not so good . It’s close to everything you need ! In the middle of two big cities Chicago to the south and Milwaukee to the north close to highways and malls and theme parks ! Every area has it’s not so good places but the good outweighs the bad! "

"The schools in lake county aren’t the best; Nor would I say the worst. The AREA is nice, although the entire humane district ( Society Wise.) Taxes are outrageously high ! "

"I live here. It has beautiful parks and trees. Only downside is that we neighbor Zion. I have lived in Zion and only certain parts are unsafe. Beach Park borders safe areas in Zion. The Illinois Beach State Park is WONDERFUL!!!"
