"4th Of July Parade, Volcano Winery Taste Sampling, Hawai’i Volcanoes National Park has events on a somewhat regular basis. It’s a very cool and nice, quiet neighborhood. Makes me think of the US upper west coast."

"I love this neighborhood and having friends live there and visiting has made us decide to buy. It is a very quiet neighborhood. We are excited to be able to live somewhere where we have over a hundred miles of hiking."

"Quite streets and few cars. Great walking space on the roads. Drivers slow down, people are friendly. Most people walk their dogs on leash, and pick up after them."

"It’s cool and quiet, with natural wildlife and ohia trees all around. Great place to live that’s away from town. It’s also a few minutes away from the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. "
