"Within 10 min of all grocery stores and fast food restaurants. Delivery is widely available. Lots of people who live here commute out of town for work though. 30 min to more than an hour each way"

"I need to use private vehicle to commute! There is no local bus service and no taxi service. There are only 8 houses on this partially paved road. 2/3 is paved and 1/3 is dusty dirt road!"

"None, nothing ever happens in the neighborhood. Avon Park isn’t a great place to live. I also would say the schools are horrible "

"I’ve lived in Avon Park since 1962, @ the age of 5 years, raised three daughters, and now I have the privilege of watching their children (totaling my 9 grandchildren) grow up in AP. The 2 oldest already graduated this year on May 24th, 2019 with the youngest turning 2 years old in September. "

"no busses at all most of everything here is far and jobs are hard to get in this city cheap rent but hard to pay bills if you dont own a car you will spend alot on ubers "

"This for the area around the house we own in red water estate. We like the area and there is good schools here and a quiet way of life. Walmart super store is about 10 min away from here as lots of national chain stores though this area is ver quiet do to its location."
