"Great area and great schools. Some great parks and close to the beach. Great for being outside but the hills and lack of sidewalks in areas makes it less walkable than other areas. Package theft does happen and people don’t clean up after their pets well. The rent is also really high around here. "

"Cardiff-by-the-Sea is one of the greatest communities in San Diego. People watch out for one another, have a strong sense of pride for the neighborhood, and everyone is friendly. I can’t say anything bad about living here!!"

"There are many open grass areas throughout the neighborhoods. There are almost always dogs and owners out walking and playing fetch. I even see a regular meet up happen every week in my neighborhood. "

"Great place to walk your dog. So many dog families in the neighborhood. Great dog park on Santa Fe built by the city. Families get together in the common areas to hang out in the evenings. Lots of open space. Very family friendly neighborhood. Schools in walking distance. "
